Congratulations on getting your gold copy. I’m sure everybody is looking forward to playing the game.

Now I think I might be able to eat some of this surprise.cake too. Ha ha ha.

Even though I got the gold master copy, we still continue to check things and if there’s something that they don’t like, we also fix that. With patches, especially during this digital age.

Gradually make a shift to promotions. Making the final trailer, The models, and books, etc.

Even though sales start, the promotion team still needs to make The 3-D plastic models one by one, etc.

I’m even thinking about the next projects. And when I push out a timeline, my coworkers are thinking about their holidays and they don’t like it very much. Ha ha ha. Our timing is different.

There are a lot of business trips coming up.

June 6: The Los Angeles game fest is a big one.

June 8: Los Angeles Red Carpet. We borrowed a theatre and the DS2 cast will attend & talk.

June 26th : On sale, so we will start a world tour until the end of the year. Due to this schedule, there will be Gamingevents that I will not be able to attend. Being able to make Koji 10 might also be come a bit of a problem. I won’t know when 10 PM is.

9:00 Tonight’s Theme: Talking about Tom Cruise!

I haven’t seen The Reckoning yet. But Tom is only 1 year older than me and we are born near the same time of year. We are both entering our 60’s. 

When the announcer asked Tom Cruise, if there are more mission impossible that he wants to make, he replied there are many. Koji says, well, he did say that he wanted to go to outer space, but he went to China first. This time he focussed on the Cessna. Usually he’s Doing stunts from some aircraft. Technically, he still needs part in outer space, like Moonraker. 

Talk of Tom in his briefs, from the past and in the new movie. 

Kojima enjoys the first theme song of the series the most. His favorite scene from the first movie is when Tom is flying and sweat comes out from under his glasses, and the hand comes to wipe off the sweat, then cuts to a non-sweat scene. It bothers Kojima. It’s as if a knife is about to drop, then drops and… nothing happens. These days there are digital sensors and we find these flaws. 

MI1: With MI one, Tom Cruise timeline , the makeup changes, and it’s a laughable moment. At that time, the arrival of a helicopter on the scene was new way of movie making. About halfway through, the other main character shows up, and you are taken to the end of the movie, but focused on Tom.

MI 2: John Woo is in it. It’s focused on fantastic bike action. He enjoyed the scene of the Paramount mountain, then looking around the other side, you see Tom climbing the mountain. The scenes on the bike remind him of the Japanese Kamen Rider show. 

MI 3: At the end Tom is running. This era was more live action than digital.

MI 4:Feature actor from Blood Giant. This was the best so far. I had to sit in the front row in a corner, and nearly got sick from the action. I’ve also been to the tower in Dubai. Léa Seydoux is also in it. She has a scene against another actress, and I wonder why she didn’t fall down & die . Ha ha. 

He compares the timeline of MI series with 007 Bond series, as well as DS and Léa showing up in MI 4. 

21:30 from here on, he says everyone is the same intensity, except Tom upped his game and got more intense. They have been with Simon Peck for 20 years. Also it becomes more of a family movie.

In 2018, Fallout. I cried during the end of that movie, when he is at his end, and all banged up. 

23:30 : We both want to keep making movies and have people enjoy them. I wonder why he makes such a difficult bike jump, etc. then at the end the scene with the train is similar to movies in India. 

Now: Reckoning is out, but I haven’t seen it yet.

The DJ was 3 years old when MI 1 came out, so has grown up watching the MI movies. It was shocking for her to finally see Tom in person. *Kojima says he wants to be in a position where Tom comes to rescue him in MI style.* 

29:00 Reviews other Tom a cruise movies. An era with DeCaprio, as well as Interview with Vampire. Then with Brad Pitt. I’m the same age as Brad Pitt, as well as Johnny Depp. 

If I were to introduce one of Tom’s movies, I might recommend the SF movie, Minority Report. He particularly likes the seven when he can’t see, and opens up the refrigerator. I like the scenes that I have not tried to produce. Who doesn’t like Spielberg! Everyone likes what he makes. 

The 2005 movie where Tom divorces his wife, and fights aliens in order to visit his children is also quite an entertaining story. 

2012: In Rock of Ages he plays a musician. It’s also worth watching. 

Lee Child series is good to, and Tom tried that.

Oblivion, from Game Over light novels. The character does and returns to replay, like a game. 

The Mummy, then 

Top Gun, Maverick is a great story, and Iceman has passed away. 

The phase with a beach scene always seemed long and meaningless, and now is meaning full.

41:00 - Overall , I think Tom is working really hard and has difficult roles. He gives up everything in his life to give it his all in movies. I want him to continue. I want the action intensity to continue, until I feel ill again, over and over. Ha ha!
