In the first 10 minutes, he introduced one of them. The rest will have to be introduced during the podcast segment of the show on Apple/Spotify.

Book 1:
The Dark that Doesn’t Sleep
Simon Mockler is a pretty unknown author.
He has made a few young adult books.
This is one of his first adult books.
Kojima likes this book because Jack is a regular guy, and setting the scene It starts as a mystery novel and then turns into an ADVENTURE novel.
The sentences of short and sweet and it’s easy to read.
A footprint remains, and the temporary CIA investigator, doctor goes to check things out.
There are two bodies of different levels of … .. one is a body, the other is just bones & teeth.
Kojima said the randomness & variety of characters, all appear to be randomly thrown into the situation. Which he finds intriguing.
The scene, similar to DS is a fierce encampment (in the far North ?)
Kojima10, S1, ep.2: Best Books:
Podcast segment
The podcast segment dealt with how to pick books.
He starts with:
1) the design of the book, the quality of the wrap around the book, Basically, how much production cost goes into the book. Is the shop trying to sell that book? Does the manager like that book?
2) then he moves onto the theme of the book and the genre. If it’s a mysterious intrigue or he can make some assumptions about the storyline.
3) Last is his own opinion if he thinks he’s going to like the book or not.
So, these three things combined causes him to buy a book.
He gets a lot of books sent to him, but it’s difficult to read those because his interest is based on his decision and not someone giving it to him.
To get into a reading mode, it has to be a speedy story change these days and words that are easier to read. If he gains interest in that book, then he’ll research into one more aspect of the book perhaps buying the next in the series or researching something that was mentioned in the book.
He didn’t read books until he was in grade one. And he really enjoys reading while commuting on the trains. His interest is in: Colombo, and also Hayakawa Shobo. He likes reading a book that has a photo after about 20 pages. He will pick up and read that book just to look at the photo later. then he thinks oh that was fun. Then he will likely read the rest of the book.
His success around watching movies and reading books is to pick up one more theme within it and research that. It’s a way to self improvement. For example if he watches a movie, he’ll listen to the record of the musician. Which often leads him to Hollywood.
When he goes to a library, he thinks he wants to know everything that’s in here before he dies. How is that possible? And that’s also his reason to go to the bookstore. To know more.
End.
