 Koji 10, S1, Ep.4: Best movies: 

First 10 minutes:

Announcer: we have a lot of emails that we can deal with during the later part of the show. 

Kojima: there are a lot of movies that I love. Today we just talk about anime. This year I have a best three selection for 2024.

1) Look Back by Taki Oshiyama

2) Flow - about a black cat

3) Robot Dreams by Pablo Berger, who is the same age as me.

Robot Dreams is based on a graphic novel.

A dog makes a robot. He can’t make decisions. The robot rusts and the dog tries to repair it.

It’s based in New York in the 1980s so it’s an American style movie. 

The dog is lonely he plays games, and sees a couple through the window. Like taxi driver. We are not alone. The first half is like a partner date type of film then suddenly we get the September twin towers incident. The atmosphere of New York, twin towers and the loneliness. 

Then on the beach, the oil is gone, but he goes to the beach to help and the beach is closed so they become separated. An adult would expand the ideas. 

Personally, I like fierce movies. It takes me about six months to process them in my mind. I don’t cry in reality, but in the movies, wow.

For example: 

Kramer versus Kramer, the Jaws dog, the Halloween twins.

Kojima discusses the song, September and sings a line, 🎵 “Do you remember..,” . I can sing this whole song in karaoke.

Announcer: so you like the movies with couples relationships. 

Kojima: I use go to watch those movies solo. 

Recently, I’m thinking if I want to buy a cat a dog or a robot. 

Definitely I would like to buy a robot. It cleans does laundry, please and it can even check games for me and reprimand the staff . Laughs. 

So Robot Dreams is my top movie selection.

🤖 Koji 10, S1, Ep.4:   Best movies: Part 2:

Kojima continues the discussion of robot dreams. It’s good for kids and adults. Some funny bits with dogs and birds too. It’s not a hold your hands kind of movie the robot and the dog touch their fingers but they don’t hold hands. It’s good for a person in their 60s after this, you could go to watch a really scary movie. This movie was nominated. He urges us to listen to the theme song ‘ uchuu no fantasy. ‘ ( Space Fantasy).

Of course, as a creator, it’s a good movie to watch to see the met state of each character separately.

As for the dog. I have no idea what kind of lifestyle or job he has. He has a good life in New York and making a robot is expensive. They even take taxi.

I want to **Look Back**the story so I bought the manga too. 

The camera movement and the handwritten movement, make it like Tarantino‘s once upon a time in Hollywood but it’s like the kids version.

I don’t really like the ‘what if ‘stories were fiction changes into the future. 

Margaret Qualley , I first noticed in games.

Are used to watch one movie per day. But these days I am checking the game so less movies. 

Normally I watch a movie and then I need to read the book. 

For every movie that I watched, I pick up how to points how to do this and how to do that. I watch art movies and Indies movies too. But the major movies I go to theatres and always buy the pamphlet too. Mostly these days, I need to buy the Blu-ray because they decreasing. The recent movies don’t make hardcopies.

Going back generations, to my sensitive teenage years, I really loved the. Ovid: Taxi Driver.  Then I got into secret agent movies. (Kojima scrolls a list of movies he’s watched). I also watched cinematic and art House movies. I like and watch horror, anime, Asian, Russian, French and American movies. I watch them,even blockbusters. And Indies. I like love stories, comedy, and I’m OK with zombies, Frankenstein and monsters. But I really don’t like ghost movies.

Koji 10: S1, ep4, part 3: 

**A24**: the discussion continues slowly almost every day. It’s a bit of a strange discussion. And it’s also planned for five years into the future.

**OD**: OD is a game. However, you can look at it from any angle like a movie. Will it become a movie? I don’t know. Nuance.

**DS**: DS can also be seen from any angle. It may become an anime. The cameras are done simultaneously. So it could be produced simultaneously. Using movie people at the same time.
